We offer low side, high side and zero phase current transformers. Depending on their design, they are capable of measuring both AC and DC currents. They are used to measure current flowing through electrical wires, to measure precise values of alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC), and even for applications such as maintenance checkpoints.

The current transformer consists of three parts: primary winding, secondary winding and insulated core. The magnetic flux produced by the field coil produces a voltage depending on the number of turns and direction. Since the toroidal current transformer ignores the electrical axis based on the same principle as directional vector measurement, it can easily measure current along any electrical path without circuit board modifications or painful switchovers.
